The Old Operating Theatre Museum and the Florence Nightingale Museum are hosting a teachers’ evening on Tuesday 22nd November 2016, from 5:30-7:30 pm. This will be a great opportunity for secondary school teachers’ to meet the education teams from both Museums and discover more about the learning facilities we offer schools groups.
The current curricular emphasis on medical history reflects the much broader focus on interdisciplinarity between the Arts, Humanities and Natural Sciences. As such, this evening is highly recommended for teachers’ from a broad range of subjects, as well as those delivering Ofqual accredited Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in History.
The evening drop-in session will include a tour of the Old Operating Museum and some refreshments will be provided. The event is free but advanced booking is essential as places are limited.
