Our facilities are very restricted due to the special location of the Museum in the attic of an 18th century church. Please, take note that the Museum does not have visitor toilet facilities. Visitors are encourage to use the public toilets at London Bridge Station near the Shard or in the glass building down in Borough Market (all within walking distance as seen in the map below).
In addition, the Museum does not have a cafe although there are many cafes and restaurants in the area including the very fine food available at the famous Borough Market. Please, do make sure that you finish your hot drinks or food before you climb the 52-step spiral staircase. Only water is allowed in the Museum during visiting hours.
What the Museum does have is a lovely gift shop with exclusive items and books dedicated to the history of medicine in the Georgian and Victorian periods. Access to the shop is free.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact the museum at 020 7188 2679 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
