An evening of Gothic Tales

31st October 2021

£20 / £15

Redheart Theatre presents a thrilling evening of Victorian mystery and suspense. Performed by Rupert Mason, directed by award winning writer/director Justin Butcher with sound and music by TV and Film composer Jack C Arnold.

A sceptical young man spends a night in a haunted room to prove there are no such things as ghosts, a lonely railway worker is visited by a mysterious spectral figure and a madman is driven to murder: from the golden age of gothic horror, three tales written by some of the greatest authors of the Victorian era – The Red Room by H G Wells, The Signalman by Charles Dickens and The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. Guaranteed to send a chill down the spine!

Join us this Halloween and enjoy a short introductory talk to the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret, a complimentary glass of wine, followed by Rupert Mason’s gothic performance.

Doors will open at 18:15 for a 19:00 start.

Access is through a narrow 52-steps spiral staircase.
