This is the creation tale of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic work of horror “The Curious case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde”. The genesis of the novel includes nightmarish monsters, witches, Devil Worshipers, drug use, historical figures, Resurrection men, robbers and spiritualism. Cara Hamilton peels back the skin of history to reveal the story and bring it to life with a mix of talk and performance. In truth it takes very little to turn your inner Doctor Jekyll into the callous Mr Hyde. Dare you witness or experience it for yourself?

The performer:

Cara Hamilton is a Historical Performer who specialises in the Occult, Mesmerism and the Medical. She is also an Occult and Astrological consultant for two UK newspaper groups. Cara’s “Witches” presentation sells out in a few hours. The Times newspaper considers her performances one of the top 10 things to see in Scotland.

 Doors will open at 18:15 for a 19:00 start.

Access is through a narrow 52-steps spiral staircase.
